Computer Science student and game designer.
I was part of a team that entered the 2019 GBJAM7. We created a game inspired by Mother 2. I was a microgame programer, so I created a simple whack-a-mole style game where the player click on the little slime balls to squish. This was my first time working in Unity, but I learned a lot about graphics interacting code and how to communicate with my team members to create a finished product.
Here are some screenshots from the game:
For my second internship at Minecraft, I decided I wanted to create a new mini-game. Boba Dash is a game inspired by Diner Dash, except the player is in the kitchen making drinks! For this project, I worked on designing and building a custom mob for the game as well as acting as a consultant for the art team.
Below are some images of my customer entity as well as their behaviors.
For my first internship at Minecraft, I was tasked with recreating an existing mini-game called Glide, in the Bedrock edition of Minecraft. I worked with one other intern, and I was responsible for the staging of the player before the game started. This included programming a countdown timer, restricting movement of the player, creating a new gamemode for Glide, as well as filling the player's inventory with approriate items.
